Tammy Hudgeon for FOLKLIFE

The first time I had the experience of taking photos of Tammy Hudgeon, in her home and studio, was for her piece entitled: How to find creative sovereignty through free-expression journaling ( found in the second Issue of FOLKLIFE Magazine)

Every interaction I’ve had with Tammy has been uplifting. Since my days of working at Artworks, I’ve enjoyed watching as Tammy grew from her primary work, cheerful and full of colour fused glass pieces, to her more folk inspired and playful painting style. I am endlessly inspired by Tammy’s willingness to be vulnerable and share in her expression of her Art and how she came to be where she is.

Most recently Tammy has taken on the virtual world to provide online courses and encouragement to the many followers and admirers she has collected over the years.
